Oasis Travel’s Portfolio scoops top industry prize

OASIS PORTFOLIO, the high-end element of Northern Ireland’s largest independent travel agency, Oasis Travel, has been named as the UK’s best luxury travel retail business.

Oasis Travel Managing Director Sandra Corkin picked up the award for Luxury Travel Retail Business of the Year at the influential TTG Luxury Travel Awards, a glittering gala occasion held at the Rosewood London, in the company of 230 industry professionals.

The awards are organised by the specialist magazine for the UK’s luxury travel sector, TTG Luxury, with Oasis Portfolio up against six other highly successful travel businesses on the shortlist from across the UK. To win, the Oasis team had to complete a substantial business submission, which was then judged by a panel of industry experts.

“Our judges were truly impressed by the success and ongoing development of Oasis Portfolio,” said editor of TTG Luxury April Hutchinson. “Its appointment-only philosophy focused on clients who really demand the best luxury travel service, seems to have struck gold. Consistently high feedback scores and going the extra mile – and the extra hours – arguably help secured Oasis Portfolio this award. As they say themselves, their goal is ‘creating matchless experiences for people with the world at their feet’ – and they’re delivering on that. Congratulations!”

Collecting the award, Sandra Corkin said, “Within the travel sector it often feels that the focus of attention rarely strays from value-driven holidays, so we are delighted to have this opportunity to showcase and celebrate high end travel. For us, this has been an area of considerable business growth in recent years and we have now brought our innovative personalized Oasis Portfolio concept to three locations: at Lisburn, Holywood and Howard Street, Belfast.
